The Central Division Global Real Estate and Services is responsible for corporate real estate management within the reinsurance group worldwide. We deliver innovative solutions and services for the modern working environment that meet the requirements of our partners in all businesses around the world. In order to meet the company's climate ambition and to fulfill higher reporting standards in the future, we are looking for an Environmental Manager to support our lively, professional and interdisciplinary Resource Steering team.
This position is limited until 31.03.2026

Your Job

  • Coordinate internal non-financial reporting from a business field and location view, including data collection, verification and external audit
  • Define robust processes and global internal standards for efficient ESG data collection and KPI tracking
  • Set up tools and infrastructure to meet future ESG reporting requirements
  • Support the Munich Re Group Environmental Manager in the development and implementation of the climate protection strategy
  • Provide supervision, support and training to internal stakeholders

Your Profile

  • Master's degree in environmental/sustainability science, real estate management, accounting, controlling or related fields
  • First professional experience in non-financial reporting
  • Experience in managing global business projects and networks
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and German
  • Proficient in Office tools (especially Excel), knowledge of Sphera is a plus
  • Independent, structured work style; accuracy and reliability
  • High level of self-motivation and drive
  • Ability to work on-site in our Munich offices (at least to a certain degree)
